I believe this module has been extremely useful in helping me to develop and define who I am as an illustrator and what it is I want to do, where I see my illustrations and my career in the industry. Through the creation of these various promotional items I have taken a look at myself and my work and discovered what it is I want to do, what it is I do and how I do this. The products promote and reflect this.
Promotional products:
My three promotional items promote my illustration practise, theses products I have created (business card, tote bags, pillowcases) cover a broad range of promotional areas and each feature illustrations I have created specifically for this. The illustrations were designed taking reproducability and the products into account (white backgrounds, bold colours, black lines) commercially my illustrations could be put on a variety of products. I see my work being sold as standalone prints, mugs, tote bags, pillowcases, teatowels, t-shirts, the potential for my designs is to be put on anything.
Portfolio:
My portfolio covers a range of different areas in illsutration. This broad portfolio should help with getting work from agencies and appealing to a variety of different clients. As I find I work best to a brief and like to take on the challenge of any brief my portfolio is broad for this very reason and shows a variety of areas I have worked in with my style throughout. To develop this further I would perhaps refine which areas of the industry I would specifically like to work in and tailor my portfolio to this but as a starting point the portfolio I have put together I feel is relevant to my strategy and my personal relationship with illustration.

As a website my website acts as a gallery and online portfolio, I kept the design simple with white walls (backgrounds) black type and easily navigable. I feel it has been successful in achieving what I wanted to get from my website. In addition to this, I have created a professional e-mail address linked to my website and social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
